Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher to join our client's busy kitchen team. In this role, you will keep their plates, pots, and work areas clean and safe to help their chefs and servers give guests a wonderful meal every day. The ideal person is a team player who has a dedicated work ethic and can stand for long periods.
salary: $16.9 - $16.91 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5:30 AM - 2 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Knowing how to load, run, and perform basic maintenance on industrial dishwashing machines and glasswashers
Understanding health codes, safe chemical handling, proper water temperatures, and cross-contamination prevention
Knowing how to safely hand-wash delicate glassware, large pots, and heavy-duty pans
Handling wet floors, broken glass, and heavy trash removal without creating workplace hazards
Assisting cooks with simple tasks like peeling or chopping when time permits
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- manual lifting up to 30lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
Skills
- Dishwashing (1 year of experience is preferred)
