Salary: $73,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• 2+ years of IT support experience, ideally with an MSP or across multiple client environments.
• Strong macOS support and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with MDM tools such as Addigy, Jamf, or Intune.
• Familiarity with RMM, PSA, or documentation platforms such as NinjaOne, Autotask, Hudu, or similar tools.
• Experience administering both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of VLANs, firewall rules, and wireless troubleshooting; designing a network from scratch is not required.
• Ability to manage your own ticket queue, follow through, and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
• Helpful additional experience includes security tools such as Huntress, Avanan, or DNSFilter; Synology, QNAP, or shared storage for creative and post-production workflows; Ubiquiti, Meraki, Fortinet, or SonicWall; backup platforms such as Acronis or Dropsuite; and shell, PowerShell, or Python scripting.

• Act as an escalation point for our Tier 1 technician and resolve complex support issues.
• Troubleshoot authentication and identity, networking, mail flow, system performance, and data recovery problems.
• Manage tickets through our PSA platform and communicate clearly with clients and teammates.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants, including users, licensing, and security policies.
• Manage MDM and RMM platforms across macOS and Windows devices.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, and wireless networks at client sites.
• Perform routine maintenance, including patching, backup verification and test restores, firmware updates, and certificate and license renewals.
• Triage alerts from EDR and email security platforms and take appropriate action.
• Work alongside our owner on projects such as cloud migrations, network refreshes, shared storage deployments, security rollouts, and office moves or buildouts.
• Perform hands-on build, cutover, and onsite installation work at client locations across Manhattan.
• Develop the ability to scope, coordinate, and lead projects independently.
• Keep client information current in our documentation platform.
• Build and maintain repeatable processes that improve service and consistency.

Were hiring a Managed Services Engineer for an early-career opportunity at our growing MSP, with broad exposure to technology, greater ownership, and hands-on project work alongside our owner. The role offers development toward leading projects independently. Compensation is $73,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience. This is a full-time, salaried, in-person position, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with onsite client work as projects require.
