Job Description

We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You are highly analytical and strategic, someone who drives data-informed decision making across complex operational environments. This role is not about running reports, it is about serving as a trusted partner to Workplace Resources leadership, helping shape workplace strategy through rigorous analysis, structured problem solving, and operational excellence. You know the difference between data that informs and data that actually changes what leadership does next quarter.

You combine strong program management expertise with exceptional analytical, communication, and storytelling skills. Navigating ambiguity does not slow you down. You synthesize information from multiple sources, identify trends and risks before they surface as problems, and translate data into actionable recommendations that enable high-impact business decisions. Success in this role requires a highly organized and structured thinker who can bring clarity to complex challenges, establish effective operating frameworks, and drive execution across diverse stakeholder groups.

You will partner closely with Real Estate, Facilities, Finance, HR, IT, Security, and senior leadership teams to develop strategic insights, create executive-ready content, support planning activities, and deliver programs that enhance the employee experience while advancing business objectives. You do not wait for perfect information. You work with what you have, ask the right questions, and move. At Synopsys, you will shape workplace strategy across a global portfolio, and the work you do will directly influence how 30,000 people experience their physical work environment every day.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Planning & Leadership Support

  • Partner closely with Workplace Resources leadership to evaluate business challenges, assess opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Translate complex operational, financial, occupancy, and workforce data into actionable insights that inform executive decision making.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, briefing materials, business cases, leadership communications, and strategic narratives that clearly articulate trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Support organizational planning, portfolio strategies, workplace initiatives, and long-range planning efforts through research, analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders by providing data-driven perspectives and identifying emerging issues before they become business challenges.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Own the collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting of workplace and facilities data across multiple sites and regions.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and performance metrics that measure operational effectiveness, space utilization, employee experience, and financial performance.
  • Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct financial, operational, and occupancy analyses to support investment decisions, portfolio planning, and resource allocation.
  • Drive predictive and scenario-based analyses to support future workplace and real estate strategies.

Program & Project Management

  • Lead complex workplace and facilities programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Real Estate, Finance, HR, IT, Security, Facilities, and external partners.
  • Establish governance processes, decision-making mechanisms, accountability structures, and reporting frameworks that drive organizational alignment and execution excellence.
  • Facilitate leadership discussions and planning activities, translating outcomes into actionable plans with clear ownership and accountability.

Operational Excellence

  • Evaluate existing workplace processes and systems, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, operating models, and process improvements across Workplace Resources programs.
  • Manage and enhance workplace technology, reporting tools, and data management practices.
  • Ensure data quality, reporting consistency, and effective governance across workplace metrics and business reporting.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Enable faster, smarter executive decisions by delivering data-driven insights that connect operational realities to strategic priorities across a global workplace portfolio
  • Surface trends, risks, and opportunities early, giving leadership the visibility they need to allocate resources, adjust strategies, and avoid costly missteps
  • Bring clarity and structure to complex, ambiguous challenges, turning competing priorities into aligned plans with clear ownership and accountability
  • Improve how Synopsys measures and manages workplace performance, establishing metrics and reporting practices that become the foundation for ongoing strategic planning
  • Enhance employee experience by ensuring workplace programs are grounded in real data, thoughtfully designed, and effectively executed across regions
  • Strengthen organizational alignment by creating governance models and decision frameworks that help cross-functional teams move faster and with greater confidence
  • Shape the future of Synopsys' workplace strategy by supporting annual planning, portfolio optimization, and transformation efforts that affect how 30,000 people experience their work every day

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, business operations, workplace strategy, facilities management, corporate real estate, management consulting, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior executives and leadership teams to shape priorities, establish operating rhythms, align stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect operational realities to broader business objectives, anticipate future needs, identify risks, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level presentations, business cases, strategic communications, leadership updates, and decision-support materials that enable timely, high-impact decisions.
  • Advanced expertise in data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating and managing performance metrics, success measures, governance models, accountability frameworks, and decision-making processes that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Highly organized and structured thinker with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity, break down complex business challenges, prioritize effectively, and drive disciplined execution.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide discussions, build alignment, and influence outcomes across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies, goal-setting frameworks, decision-rights models, and responsibility matrices (e.g., OKRs, RAPID, RACI) preferred.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, portfolio planning, workforce analytics, and investment prioritization.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage highly sensitive business information.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to Vice President or Executive-level leaders is preferred.
  • Experience supporting annual planning processes, organizational effectiveness initiatives, workforce planning, portfolio strategy, or large-scale business transformation efforts is preferred.
  • Background in workplace strategy, facilities management, corporate real estate, business operations, management consulting, or similarly complex operational environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform data into compelling narratives, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations that influence organizational priorities, resource allocation, and investment decisions is preferred.

Who You Are

  • You can take six conflicting data sources, a vague executive ask, and a two-week deadline and deliver a single coherent recommendation that moves the business forward
  • You bring structure to ambiguity without slowing things down, breaking complex challenges into clear workstreams with owners, timelines, and success measures
  • You know how to facilitate a room full of senior stakeholders with competing priorities and walk out with alignment, not just meeting notes
  • You exercise sound judgment with highly sensitive business information, understanding what to share, when, and with whom
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, but you do not lose sight of the bigger picture, you know which details matter and which ones do not
  • You push back when a metric does not measure what it claims to, or when a recommendation is not grounded in the data, because you care about getting it right

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will partner closely with Workplace Resources leadership and collaborate across Real Estate, Facilities, Finance, HR, IT, and Security teams to drive workplace strategy and operational excellence across Synopsys' global portfolio. Your recruiter will share more about the team structure and mission during the interview process.

We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.
