Salary: $60,500 - 80,500 per year Requirements:

• We want candidates who are eager to learn, take on new projects, and explore the full scope of software development.
• We are looking for basic familiarity with programming terminology, web and app design, and data management.
• We value the ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies.
• We are seeking engaged, focused, organized, and detail-oriented problem solvers.
• We require enrollment in a bachelors or masters program, or a bootcamp, with coursework in computer science, data structures, logic, and computation.
• We prefer candidates who are graduating in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• We require availability to start on June 2, 2027 and complete the full ten-week internship.
• We would benefit from prior exposure to technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, C#, Python, SQL, AWS, or Git, though this is not required.
• We need applicants to be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future employer sponsorship, as we do not provide visa sponsorship for internship roles.

• We will have interns participate in daily and weekly scrum meetings.
• We will expect interns to apply basic software development life cycle concepts to improve product quality, processes, or user experience.
• We will have interns contribute to full-stack development work, including implementation, testing, and deployment, with support from experienced developers and engineers.
• We will have interns help build and enhance customer-facing web interfaces using a modern React and TypeScript component-based stack.
• We will have interns collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX, and Product teams to deliver software that is usable, maintainable, and reliable through modern development and delivery practices.

We are Verisk, and we are partnering with hackajob to hire for our 2027 Summer Internship Program. Our paid, full-time internship runs for ten weeks from June through August 2027 and is designed to give interns meaningful real-world experience, professional growth, and networking opportunities.
